Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across ADHD Services clinic. That standard covers whether text has enough contrast against its background, whether you can use everything with a keyboard alone, whether controls are clearly labelled for a screen reader and whether nothing depends on movement or colour by itself.

WCAG 2.2 AA is also the technical standard behind the European accessibility rules. We build towards the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act, which point at the same WCAG success criteria. Meeting WCAG 2.2 AA is how we work towards that alignment.

Accessibility is not only about the standards. The way we write matters too. We describe how a mind works rather than saying anything is wrong with it, and we keep our language literal: plain words, no idioms and no figures of speech. That is a deliberate choice for neurodivergent readers, and it is the first principle ADHD Services clinic is built on.

Ways this site adjusts to you

These work today. Each one says what it does and where to find it.

• Keyboard navigation

  You can move through the whole site using the keyboard on its own. Every button, link and control can be reached with the Tab key and shows a clear outline when it has focus. The free screeners work the same way, including moving between answers.

  Where: Built in everywhere, with no setting to turn on.

• Zoom that is never blocked

  You can pinch-zoom and enlarge this site on any device. Many assessment websites disable zooming. We never do.

• One question at a time

  The free screening tools show one question per screen with a progress bar, large buttons and no time limits. Nothing rushes you and nothing moves on its own.

• Screen-reader support

  Pages use proper headings and landmarks, questions are announced as you move through a screener and your result is read out when it arrives.

  Where: Built in everywhere.

• Calm, literal design

  Plain words, short sentences, no idioms and no figures of speech. Body copy within sections is left-aligned in readable sizes on a low-glare background. Headings, page introductions, the opening line of the homepage, the one-line price strip at the top of every page and the call-to-action band are centred. Colour is never the only way information is shown.
