Paying for your assessment

Payment plans can be arranged. Ask us.

If paying the full fee in one go is not workable, we can spread it over 2 to 3 monthly instalments. Tell us on your free call or send us an email and we will set it up.

We arrange this by hand, so there is no instalment option to click at checkout. We agree the amounts and the dates with you, then send you a secure payment link for each instalment. Your assessment goes ahead as normal and your written report is released once the final instalment has been paid.

Claiming with your health insurer

We give you an itemised receipt for your assessment so that you can put in a claim. It shows the practitioner's name, their professional registration, the date of the appointment and the service provided, which is what insurers usually ask for.

Whether you get any of it back depends on your own policy. Some policies cover part of an outpatient assessment and some cover none of it. We have no arrangement with any insurer and we cannot tell you what yours will pay.

If the claim matters to your decision, read your policy documents or ask your insurer before you book. If you want to check the receipt wording against what your insurer needs, ask us.

Pricing questions

How much does a private ADHD assessment cost?

An adult ADHD assessment is €595 in Ireland and £500 in the UK and Northern Ireland. An adult autism assessment is €750 in Ireland and £750 in the UK and Northern Ireland. A combined ADHD and autism (AuDHD) assessment is €1,000 in Ireland and £1,000 in the UK and Northern Ireland. That is the full fee. It covers the clinical interview, your written diagnostic report and a follow-up call, and it includes a free pre-assessment evaluation and your EchoMind AI profile (worth £97).

Why is your assessment cheaper than most private clinics?

Because of what we built, not what we left out. The pre-assessment evaluation, the questionnaires and the scoring run on technology we developed ourselves, which takes cost out of the parts of an assessment that do not need a clinician present, and we pass that saving on. When we reviewed published prices across Great Britain in July 2026, the thirteen providers publishing an adult ADHD price ranged from £289 to £2,050, with a midpoint near £895. Ours is £500 with the report included. We are not the cheapest assessment you can buy and we do not claim to be. Prices move, so check the current price with any provider directly, including us. The reason we price this way is the point of the clinic. A diagnosis is the start of something. If finding out takes most of what you have, there is nothing left for the part that changes your day to day.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Payment plans can be arranged over 2 to 3 monthly instalments. Ask us on your free call or by email and we will set one up for you. This is arranged by hand, so there is no instalment option to click at checkout. We agree the amounts and the dates with you and send you a secure payment link for each one. Your assessment goes ahead as normal, and your written report is released once the final instalment has been paid.

Can I claim an ADHD or autism assessment back on my health insurance?

We give you an itemised receipt for your assessment so you can make a claim. It shows the practitioner's name, their professional registration, the date of the appointment and the service provided, which is what insurers usually ask for. Whether you get any of it back depends on your own policy. Some policies cover part of an outpatient assessment and some cover none of it. We have no arrangement with any insurer and we cannot tell you what yours will pay, so check your policy documents or ask your insurer directly before you book if the claim matters to your decision.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with us, with no GP referral required. Appointments are online by video, anywhere in Ireland, the UK and Northern Ireland.

How long until I get my report?

You get your written diagnostic report within 6 weeks of your first appointment, and a follow-up call to go through it with you.

Is the report accepted by the NHS?

That is the decision of your GP or the service, not ours. Our reports are written to NICE guidance, so your GP and other services can use them. Whether a GP agrees to shared care is their decision. Every assessment is carried out by a clinician registered with CORU, PSI or the IMC.

What is included in the price?

Every booking includes a free pre-assessment evaluation, a structured clinical interview with a registered clinician, your detailed written diagnostic report within 6 weeks of the first appointment, a personalised management plan, a follow-up call and your EchoMind AI profile free (worth £97). ADHD coaching and Impact Services are priced separately.
