DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders)
The DSM is the American Psychiatric Association's manual of mental health diagnoses, setting out the criteria clinicians use to decide whether a diagnosis such as ADHD or autism fits.
ICD (International Classification of Diseases)
The ICD is the World Health Organization's international system for classifying and coding health conditions, including the diagnostic descriptions for ADHD and autism.
